Maybe this should go in the "reviews" forum, but has anyone checked out Louis C.K.'s stuff? I really enjoy his comedy and his show on Netflix (Louie) is one of the most empathetic portrayals of depression I think I've ever seen. I think he knows a lot about depression. The show itself is hilarious and very poignant. There's something to be said, I think, about the ability to laugh at yourself as well. Louis C.K. seems to me like a person who has dealt with depression and possibly suicidal thoughts as well before and I just find a lot of comfort in the show. It's one of the oldest cliched sayings in the book, but knowing that you're not alone is a great comfort. That's exactly why sites like this help people. I don't know if it's Louis C.K.'s intention to help people as well, or just to be honest, or just to make an honest buck, but my god is this show great for anyone who has dealt with depression. It's kind of helped me through a rough patch lately.
