Bless me, Father for I have sinned. I am bringing a cake to the forum with penguins and Polar Bears on it hanging out together.

I have a question for discussion today too: If you could meet any famous person who you feel is your polar opposite, would you take that chance and who would that famous person be?

For me it would be the actor Dennis Franz. Here's a guy that played football in college, served his country for 11 months in Vietnam, and then played Shakespeare before going on to become famous in such TV shows as Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue. A very different life from my own. I would just like to sit down someplace (like here and the cafe) and thank him for bringing characters to life that I truly enjoyed watching, and then listen to whatever stories he wanted to tell

So, come in get some coffee or tea, have a slice of Polar Cake, say hi to the birthday people, and introduce us to the person you brought with you for toady's question! Invite other members here if you feel like it.

I've never been really excited to meet anyone famous, so I don't know who my polar opposite would be. But if I could figure that out, then sure.

I would love to meet my polar opposite, Simon Cowell, who is the judge of the franchise, Pop Idol, which includes its popular variants, American Idol. He was also the judge on the series, Got Talent, which includes America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent. Furthermore, he is also part of the franchise of X Factor. I am not sure if I would say he is the polar opposite of me, but he is more brutally honest than I am, to the point that he would come across as rude, but in a charming manner. Not many people could pull that off, and still be remarkably admirable. I have very much respect for the man, and his accomplishments as part of the musical industry. By the way, Happy Birthday to Kenneth and any other member whose birthday that it is today.

Birthdays are just a day like any other day.
Famous people often have drink / drug / other numerous issues so not great role models.
Sorry for being negative, but hey cakes are good! (if you're not on a diet)
Trees are nice, people don't appreciate trees enough, You find birds in trees but not penguins, ok they don't fly but hey use a ladder.

(Ok Google gives us the answer to that, but odd it has never crossed my mind before_

(But I still don't understand if the furthest point East is meant to meet with the furthest point West, yet the furthest point North doesn't meet with the furthest point South? Is there even a furthest point East, someone should stick a flag there and call it the East pole. I'm soooo confused. but at least we can all agree on the fact that penguins are cute!)

Somebody with a lot of money? I would like to understand how to be rich. Silly, but true. Is it hard to trust people? Do people expect you to pay for everything? How do you find people to help maintain a home. How do you feel safe in your home. How do you maintain money? What kind of work pays so much? Do like living in a huge space?

I can laugh about it now, but long ago, someone I was interested in mentioned Keanu Reeves as her ideal. The funny thing is that he's the opposite of me in pretty much all ways. I should've gotten the hint back then, but it took many months before I finally gave up 😂
