My cousin passed the weekend before school started. The person who told me what happened told me in a tone of voice that made it sound like she was embarassed... that really made me mad. All our family members keep saying "Oh, God will forgive her" ... forgive her for what?? Because she was dealt a life that wasnt fair & nobody helped her, because all they could do was tell her what a sinner she was & she'd better straighten up or God will punish her?! All they ended up doing was help her dig herself into a bigger hole...

That's terrible! I'm really sorry for you loss, you sound like you've been a great cousin though. She's in a great place and God loves her as He always did.

So sorry for your loss and that your family was so judgmental...please do not shame yourself because of their 'standards'...truly compassionate ppl would be there to help those in pain, not label them sinners...big hugs, J
