My lovely cat died

My cat died back in february she was sucha lovely cat, one day iwas emptying cat litter and i opened the door to take out bin and she come by stairs and ran off then for 2 or 3 weeks not heard from her i put up osters up fliers everything and went looking for her no luck. I found out she was dead when a neighbour right across from me responded to a post my sister made about my cat gone mossing they messaged my sister thinking she could be my cat, my sister and mum went over to identify her she was found laying in their garden she looked peaceful from what my mum and sister said I didn't go over to see her I didn't want that to be my last memory of her. I assume she had just ran off to die as it was her time and thats what cats do. Anyhow i felt sad alot after that and ever since my house has felt empty i still pay my respects and go see her grave in my mums garden where she got buried I'll miss her RIP

I'm sorry that you lost her. I'm glad that you were able to find what happened to her though, and that she looked peaceful. It sounds like you gave her a happy cat life for the time that you had her.

Thankyou that's what I must think of I gave her a good life she was a rescue cat and she had a bad life atleast i gave her a good life in the time I had her, It took 3 or so weeks till i found out what happened to her and it was the neighbour across the road who found her after they'd come back from holiday I'll miss her dearly

So sorry I feel the pain I once had a rescue cat and he was my best and only friend when he died I had to put cucumbers on my eyes as they stung from crying I thought I'd never manage without him slowly when his ghost visited me a few times I realised he was safe and happy and also my other cat when I was a teen died and although they never met the big male cat was looking after the other one. I think they live on

Sad to hear about the loss of your cat, they do become more than just pets when you bring in the animals, dog or cat, they become your buddies, family and companions.
