I need the advice of someone who can understand. I've been "dieting" for a while now, meaning I eat a little less than some people and work off lots of calories, and it's gotten to the point where my parents think I have an eating disorder. My dad said that if I don't stop having my tea early, he'll refer me to a hospital, and he threatened that he should smash the computer. What should I do? Please reply with advice. Thanks.

Sounds like your father is over-reacting. Try to explain to your parents that you don't have an eating disorder. It's perhaps worth while going to the doctors and having this verified to calm your father down. Besides you could always take your tea a little later also to.

I am not sure if your father is correct, but more important, are you eating sensible? reducing your calories is not the way to maintain healthy eating...maybe a consultation with a nutritionist would be helpful...big hugs, J
