New uses for unneeded sheets?

I'm beginning to declutter my room. I discover I have an unnecessary amount of sheets. They don't even fit my bed.

I need advice on what else I could do with them. If anyone knows a practical purpose I can put them to, I welcome suggestions.

You could donate them to charity, but if you don't want to do that, if you've got the storage space for them, you might want to just wait. Some things, like old toothbrushes, seem to have lots of repurposing potential, but there's less of that with sheets.

My guess is that a homeless shelter or maybe Goodwill would want them.
