I’m grateful for a brief cold front bringing the temperatures down closer to average as opposed to 20+ degrees F over the usual. Also for the way I think differently when stimulated by new (to me) ideas.

I’m grateful for my meditation app having a wealth of really fantastic teachers putting out talks and guided meditations. I have been listening to them when my own thoughts are causing me pain, if not harm. It’s been helping so far.

I’m grateful for my mom, who gave me lots of advantages growing up that many kids miss out on. Many of these lessons were not entirely intentional, and most were hard. That’s why I have had to reach middle age to be able to appreciate it. Regardless of the why, though, it is an advantage that I can leverage today.
