Uff.... why is it that linkedin is so difficult for me? I mean really, it was supposed to be.. you know.. friendly.. networkable.. instead it overloads me in couple of minutes each time and I don't know what to do there. I mean, clicking the "Connect" buttons is fine, but anything else... argh...

I really mean, it's difficult to the point of giving up, though I kind of cannot/shouldn't be doing that. But doing all the escapism still ((((

I mean, I even kind of know (or almost completely suspect, because I'm still waiting for confirmation of the diagnosis), that the reason is probably my ADHD. I have a lot of home duties, they are too immediate, and I can't switch from them to something really serious and important for me, that has not so immediate target on the timescale. But in my situation this is really, really bad, and I don't know what to do.

Hoping you can get some help with this, @FieryL - so that you don't have to struggle with it, so much. Take care, and be well! : )

I was doing so well building my confidence and self-esteem, and it's just come crashing down and I'm not even sure why. I'm back to feeling like a complete failure and waste of space.
Sometimes, it is a journey, in terms of... there being set-backs. So this is normal, and to be expected. It would be nice, if this were not so, or the case. And we'd just keep on as if there were never any of those, or these. But... that tends to not be the way, in my experience. The key is, to recognize that, it is not always going to necessarily be this or that way. And that - you don't have to stay there - where you are, indefinitely, anyway. Hoping things (begin to) turn around for you soon.

Everything that exists nowadays requires you to access it via a website that is either
A) Full of so much nonsensical word dribble that you have to read about 10,000 words before you even know what the product is, and another 10,000 to know how to buy it
B) Give them your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, bank details, list of hobbies and preferences and your next of kin just to do something as simple as watch a video or read a news article. Details they will store securely in plain text on a server any 5 year old can hack into.

When my parents were young businesses acted like it was a privilege to get your business, when I was young they at least acted like they wanted your business, even if they weren't so grateful anymore, now its like "Hey, you want to use our services? Well earn it".

I just did a speed awareness course. (I'm actually in an intermission) and there is some material on the course that even the instructor says should be shown to anyone before they get a licence. It has a big effect on attitudes, but the DVSA refuses to let it get out because they want the punitive speed awareness course to have value. We are even warned not to record it or if it is discovered it will invalidate our course and we will get points on our licence.

They are waiting for people to fuck up before they can get this information. Its ridiculous. They are choosing to make the roads less safe.

P.s. I just missed the speed limit change and misjudged the speed limit of the road. The cameras were hidden also so no reminder of speed limit as I approached them. (Speed cameras often have the limit posted on them if they are visible) Just one of those things. Still my fault, but I'm not some lunatic.

Thank you for the hug. Sometimes I miss him so much it's internally painful. My husband said he doesn't want to hear about it, "you have dead people in your head." Like wtf I'm supposed to apologize for this. 😢 I love my brother and he does live on - in my head and in my heart.

That's right, you have the right to feel however you do--& it isn't as if, you've got a choice: for it is, automatic. As you say, You love & he lives...

I’m not taking to time to think, just respond….
What an awful awful thing to say to you🥲
I’ll leave it at that. My breathing actually stopped when I read that.
It makes perfect sense he lives on inside you. And that it deeply hurts sometimes too.
I’m sorry to hear that this person doesn’t know how to be empathetic or supportive.
Lots and lots of hugs for you.
I see this attached to your post. I hope you can see it✨

Please nobody read this that is already not feeling well I'm venting it all out.

it feels like my disability worker purposely put me on a downward spiral. I had many letters from her stating what I was supposed to do, and I don't even know how this started. I was in the hospital, no phone allowance, I didn't let them know right away. I wasn't thinking clearly, just confused at her response of just use your inheritance money (and it isnt' much now) for rent and we will cover your medical and groceries. Well geez the new worker replaced her and said I cant do that. Demanding months of statements when she said I clearly cant use the money I already used! What's the point anymore! I'm angry. There is no point in sending her bank statements that clearly will show I used the inheritance money to pay 4 months of rent, that's what this landlord wanted. So, I'm screwed. Literally. Thanks for all these years just to cut me off and I'm going to make it maybe one year and I'm broke. Thanks so much for telling me to do something I'm not allowed to do and leaving me to pay for a dozen different medications every month, heat, hydro, water and food. I feel like I'd give this new worker my middle finger if I could see her face. I feel like she should be in my shoes, would she wonder why I got snappy? At least I still have my 2 sons, that's all i live for now. i feel suicidal but I cant, I wont do that to them even though I'd rather see them use that tiny bit themselves. I'll pay for a psychologist for my younger who's doctor thinks he's not worth it. Fuck this healthcare, people think we have the best. Doctors don't treat cancer until you're at stage 4, they don't care. Venting

I really hate it when people ask young women when they are having babies. For many obvious reasons... but now that I think about it even more, I have two friends who have been trying to conceive for YEARS, another one with endometriosis and a cousin with PCOS. None of them talk about their problems/conditions openly, but I cannot imagine what it must feel like to get those incessant questions. These things are way too common.

Work. Some of the doctors at my work are terrible. I was discussing a case on the phone with the doc on call the other day, and he basically told me this person didn't need support because she's not homeless, then I had to explain a basic administrative procedure to him that is highly relevant to his work and he should definitely know about. It's sort of offensive that I have to consult on cases with a doctor that is going to be that useless.
