I just saw a thread called "Hopelessness Reigns" and Immediately I thought of hopelessness as actual rain, like timefall in Death Stranding. It just begins to rain and anyone caught out in it becomes incredibly hopeless and depressed, even the plants give up and wither.

Just one of the MANY random thoughts that pop into my head automatically and uninvited. A mixture of aspie random and a leftover of training myself to make random associations to keep conversations going.

You know I would look at random objects in a room and make as many associations as I could. The idea was to train myself to always be able to come up with a topic of conversation, to be able to carry a conversation. It started with super random and from that I ended up being able to come up with relevant things to say in any context but now I am constantly inundated with random thoughts at all times.... oh well.

Did you know I once won an argument with a sheep?

i'm watching a movie called thirty seconds over tokyo. there are planes on an aircraft carrier. it reminded me when i served in the navy on an aircraft carrier.

of course if you're in the atlantic ocean you get a lot of waves, some pretty high. i went above deck with friends when we were sailing through the bermuda triangle. i'm not superstitios or anything but what my friends and i saw kind of rattled us. looking at the water it was as calm as a mill pond, not even a tiny wave. the only disturbance in the water was our wake.

another true story when we were on the aircraft carrier. evvery year they have something called flight quals ( qualifications ). our commander of the ship obviously wanted to win. there are basically two people in charge, commander for the ship and commander for the aircraft.

well the commander of the ship can suprcede the aircraft commander. that day the waves were really high and the aircraft commander said it was too dangerous but was overruled. well he was right, just as one jet was about to land the swells raised the back of the ship and well enough said. they both ejected, one was lost at sea the other hit mutiple aircraft on deck. without going into details neither one lived.

i hate war and always have. sometimes it's justified like ww2. if people die in defendinfg their country i understand but when doing it for practice nobody should perish. and of course said not to say anything or get a courtmarshall, it wan't even in the news. that was 50 years ago

one more true story, funny now but i almost sh#t myself then. we had to practice defending the base when i was stationed in cuba. well they were teaching us something like a bazooka that fired live phosphorous gernades. i'm only 17 at the time, and i didn't know what i was doing.i shot straight up the guy in charge yelled at us to run oops lol.

same place. i was a sharp shooter and even won a metal for my shooting. i'm glad i was such a good shot. right after my first shot that day the guy in charge yelled as loud as possible to cease fire. i looked over my target and there was a 10 or 11 year old boy. we had targets on the side of a 10 or 12 foot cliff. the whole area was off limits but you know kids lol.

There's only so much one can "stuff" down before you pop! It's not like a compostable bucket where you can keep putting things on to, mix it up and everything underneath turns to fertilizer in your life. You can learn from it and spread it around to cultivate for others, however it's still there... taking up space and getting crammed in even tighter.
Eventually you burst.

Hoping your progression through therapy, which I know is still only in its infancy stages, can begin to help tackle at least some of this! ..:)
