I honestly just needed to rant. I have this best friend whom I tell everything to, and I really love and trust her. Recently, I told her about my new job and what I’ve been doing there. I basically just wanted to share it with her like we always do.
A few days ago, completely out of nowhere, I didn’t even ask, she told me that she had pulled some tarot cards about my new job, and apparently everything that came up was negative. She explained all of the interpretations to me, and overall, it was just completely negative.
Yes, we sometimes do tarot for fun and don’t take it too seriously, but I don’t know. I just didn’t like how negative she was being about it this time. It honestly brought me down, especially since it was only my first day. She also started trying to guess specific details that I hadn’t even told her yet, asking things like, “Do you have a female boss?” and “Do you work fewer than eight hours?”
I haven’t replied to her messages because the whole thing completely ruined my mood.
