Hiya All
i started my second year of uni early this month and I am really not feeling it, i don't feel euthusastic about or anything about apart from its a lot of stress i hate dealing with and since learning that my course is going to be mostly online until January i feel that back to the OU again it feels so isolating and very tiring since my lectures are on zoom, not exactly exciting :)
Can anyone help me?

I remember hating my second year in college, for the whole year. I mostly got up to mischief to distract myself, something I am not even remotely suggesting you get involved in yourself. What are you having the most difficulty adjusting to at the moment? Is it the course being mostly online?

Yech that's right it's my course being online and fatigue that comes with zoom.
Yeah the whole lockdown/social distance drill is a huge pain for so many of us. Many people find it a very unnatural way to live and so it's not something people just readily adapt to & feel positive about. I don't know what sort of restrictions are being put in where you are, but do you have any level of freedom to still get to do anything normal? Having even one decent thing to look forward to can help us get through all the annoying stuff.

The restrictions are in the middle but I can't see friends or go to university lectures. But things struggle is now lonely I feel with zoom and lack of social contact and uni experience that's what miss the most.

Hey, I'm in my second year too, and finding it super depressing, so you're not alone in that. I feel like I spend most of my time staring at my bedroom wall.

Some societies or clubs do online events that might help with socialising, although I know it's nowhere near the same as in person. I'm always around if you want to talk to someone :)

Here's hoping things improve soon. Sending hugs

I get that, things seem to just be plummeting. This can't last forever though - I keep reminding myself of that every day. I keep telling myself that one day, I'll be out of this and it'll be easier again. I hope that's some use to you, it doesn't make me feel happy, but it keeps me alive and hopeful that I won't be in this position forever. Try to talk to people online if you can, it doesn't make the pain go away completely but it helps to have somewhere to go and not feel alone for a while.

Sending hugs

hey there!
Im also a student (not 2nd year, though)

We also have all courses online and I also feel lonely from time to time.

Do you like playing games? like league of legends or something like that?
Ive made it a habit to play with my buddies each friday or saturday evening and it feels pretty close to socialising and helps me beat the loneliness

If you cant meet your friends in person, you could try having virtual meetups? (that worked for 1 on 1 conversations for me but not for groups...)

do you generally have trouble with fatigue? A strict routine, that resembles a normal day helped me a lot. (not staying in pyjamas all day, also not staying in bed all day, have a strict plan on when you do what (Sports, studying, free time, rest etc.)
I keep track of everyting on my calendar, that helps me with that (for example, each day, theres a slot at 13:00-14:00 that is reserved to running with the dog)

I wish you a nice day :)

Nah I don't mean the sleepiness feeling we all get when do wanna leave our beds is the type of feeling that isn't relieved by rest exercise or doing something productivity it makes everyday things difficult. No amount os sleep exercise relaxing classes or high powered sports relieves this l leave my Pjs at 8am and don’t them back on till about 7pm

Ah I think I get what you mean.
I believe I have/feel something similar. For me its like, I wake up tired and then I'm tired all the time no matter what I do (its the strongest in the morning).
Well I take medication against it now, so it works OK for me.

Has this always been like that (fatigue) for you?
