Thanks for the tag @Lane !

1) what's your preference, coffee or tea? How do you like it? Are there coffee shops where you live?

I like both, but coffee is my go-to beverage in the a.m. I like dark roast (Columbian, Sumatra, Jamaica Blue Mountain), a little cream, no sugar. When I drink tea, it's usually in the evening... chamomile or green tea..

2) what's the most memorable gift you've received? Is there a gift that you've given or made that was special?

The cast of a play I directed (that was set in Australia) gave me a gift basket on opening night with a bunch of Australian goodies - no Vegemite ™ though!

I made a photo album for my best friend (whom I've known for forty-five years) as a going away present before he left for Navy basic training..pics of him as a child, then growing up with me and our other buddies, high school, etc

3) would you like to share a photo here of something you took recently?

It's already 6:30pm here, but I'll give it a reply anyway

I'm a huge fan of both. It depends on my mood or the weather what I'd prefer to have. Time of day isn't relevant.

There are not coffee shops like you are thinking of them. Last time my dad was here he was appalled. He comes from a different area where coffee shops are on every corner. There is a Starbucks, a rather long distance away. Most of the coffee shops serve coffee, like black or with cream, not the fancy coffee.

2) what's the most memorable gift you've received? Is there a gift that you've given or made that was special?
The gift of time.
There is some special things I do for my grandma every new year. It's a thing between her and I that I've done for over 20 yrs now. It's special, because it's our thing.

3) would you like to share a photo here of something you took recently?
Sorry ... you get kitty pics

Thanks for the tag @extraterrestrialone :)

What's your preference, coffee or tea? How do you like it? Are there coffee shops where you live? I love them both the same and often can't decide what to have. I have coffee shops nearby which also serve tea. I like tea best with lemon and ginger, but also love earl grey and most other kinds. My favourite coffee is fresh ground java lava with brown sugur and spot of milk

2) what's the most memorable gift you've received? Is there a gift that you've given or made that was special? It was a pack of gypsy creams. That's another story @JDot :)

Coffee usually, with one cream and sugar. There are coffee places around here, I haven't been to many of them but I want to.

The gift of friendship, I feel like that's the most important one anyway.

I'm not very good at these, but here it goes...

1) what's your preference, coffee, or tea? How do you like it? Are there coffee shops where you live?
I've never had tea, but coffee made me hyper AF. I don't want to drink it and become dependent on it. I don't know about any coffee shops around here.

2) what's the most memorable gift you've received? Is there a gift that you've given or made that was special?
I remember getting gifts, but looking back, they weren't good for my life (video games and toys and stuff). I don't remember giving anyone gifts.

3) would you like to share a photo here of something you took recently?
Here are some pics of a herd of turkeys that ended up in my backyard a while back.

Thank you! I don't know why but the turkeys made me laugh.

Thanks for the tag @Lane :)

It's been unusually hot and dry here in the UK for the last few weeks but the last couple of days it's back to it's usual drizzle and chilly - I almost had to turn the heating on today *thumbsdown

1) what's your preference, coffee or tea? How do you like it? Are there coffee shops where you live? I like both. I tend to have tea when I wake up and coffee for the rest of the day (unless I'm with my friend Caroline in which case I have tea as that's what she has). Tea I have with a little splash of milk, coffee with a lot of milk and two sweeteners. In our village we have a "greasy spoon" cafe (generally only sells fried food and English breakfasts) and a tiny little independent cafe serving tea, coffee and cake.

2) what's the most memorable gift you've received? Is there a gift that you've given or made that was special? Probably the most memorable gift I've received was a day out in London with my friend. We started out with breakfast in a posh hotel, then onto the Tate Modern art gallery to see a Matisse exhibition, then onto the Globe Theatre to see Titus Andronicus (my favourite Shakespeare play) and lastly a music festival to see The Horrors and The Pixies.

I had a sculpture made of my mum's dog who had recently passed away. Two years later she still puts it on her bedside table at night and brings it downstairs every morning.

3) would you like to share a photo here of something you took recently?
I went to Bournemouth on the south coast recently to see my son and have an evening walk on the beach.

Thank you for sharing the picture and story about the sculpture dog. I pictured it in my head, lady in robe, carrying treasure up and down stairs.

I think I drink my coffee just for the cream and sugar, *yes4

Thank you for the photo. I like the color. The coffee shop I go to is mainly just to get out of the house and walk around the town where it's at and there's always artwork on the wall from local artists. That's another thing to do when the stay home order's lifted
