Yea that's what I have , of no concern to me , I'm basically seeing if any here might help me help my wife.
I can take care of myself 95% of the time. But the lack of emotions that are part of schizophrenia make it difficult for me to help my wife.
She has Tourette's syndrome, fibromyalgia, she has RA (13), tmj,
Anxiety, Depression and separation anxiety
Anxiety and depression are part of TS , and they both are off the charts repeatedly everyday either up or down. Has been on benzodiazepines since she was 7/8 , then prescribed Valium and Xanax, got hooked on them so long her body can't learn how to function without them. Also it makes her attached to one person, it used to be her mom , now it's me , which I am glad but can't do anything. I can't leave without her ( super bad panic attacks) to even go to the store, and doctors will not help her. They each will treat one symptom and call us and say she needs to find a new dr.
Our boy is one month from his first Bday and she can hardly focus enough to hold or play with him like five minutes a day if we are lucky.
I try really hard to empathize with her but don't understand how to.
I do take care of her and my boy, and am so grateful that we both work for her parents and don't have to work to get a paycheck for the last two years, but time is running out on that and I need to get back to school to be able to support us, but I can't leave her long enough for class or everything else that comes with school.
She is in pain all the time and with everything we are both losing what little hope we had.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
