Finished the first module - interpersonal effectiveness. The first week was about boundaries, the next 2 were problem solving, the rest asides one were about interpersonal effectiveness. Some was relevant and some not. It's always exhausting.
2 week break then it's distress tolerance - probably starting again with problem solving.

There is so little online. So few people seem to talk about it. Which is weird.

1 to 1s are hard. I don't find it easy or possible to talk about myself much so...

@Innocent Forever we are still on the impulsivity module. It has been pretty good so far. I wouldn't say I enjoy it, but it is an eye opener and the guys in the group are very supportive. My only issue is trying to fit in my 1 to 1's. I get every Monday off so I can do my therapy, but I also have to have a 1 to 1, so luckily when I am on an office day at work my boss will let me sneak out. It's only round the corner from where I work so I can be done and back within an hour. My one issue is that my CPN will be discharging me now I am doing this therapy. My new CC is the OT that runs the group. I connect well with her, but I don't know how helpful she will be if my other issues flare up like my bipolar and psychosis. Luckily everything else is fairly stable.

It does seem to be an issue. I've found in 1-1 that we often discuss life rather than actually group. I know she asked me some specific questions to understand what else she'd need to take over. I'm assuming that'll be the same by you. That's what Google has told me anyways...

Yes that’s the same with my CC. We are doing my formulation atm and don’t really discuss group that much.

I'm not doing SCM anymore. So much for that.
I actually would have liked to continue but wasn't up to me. She'd also already made the decision when she was 'discussing' it with me.

Is there any chance for you to continue it elsewhere--with someone else, somewhere else?
No. It's offered by the NHS through the CMHT. She's discharging me from the CMHT (community mental health team). There is no way to continue. Nor would I want to. It took the first module for me to relax enough with the group to say a few words the last week. I wouldn't have the wherewithal to start again even if it were possible - which it's not.

I'm sorry you didn't get out of it, what you'd hoped to...
