My handsome cousins funeral was last Friday, it was beautiful his coffin had a
Skate rink, him surfing and other beautiful things on it.
The service was beautiful and the wake was lovely everyone sharing stories and memories.
I cried many tears especially when the family did readings.
I still feel it was unfair and I’m still angry over it.
He was fun, free spirted, talented, caring and loving.
His daughter my little cousin should be coming to stay with me in the summer. I just feel so much for her at 15 without her daddy, but I’m also incredibly proud of her. Our family is down one physically but he will always be with us.

Cancer is a awful disease and I really wouldn’t even wish it on my worst enemy.

My cousin was given 3 and lasted 7 roughly so I think they give the worst case time frame but you may get longer than 10 months. Still a lot of memories to be made in that time! Stay strong.

Hi @Shorty92 I’m so very glad your cousin had a beautiful funeral. These occasions can sometimes be so much about who’s hurting now rather than the one who left. Sharing stories and memories is the best way to keep him with you, and I know his daughter will grow up to be amazing as she has you looking out for her.
