I'd excercise a bit of caution with decongestants as they could up the BP and affect the heart rate. I think Gonz's cardiac muscle has been doing enough dancing around as it is of late.
Christ. Yeah. Well that's just shit isn't it?

There's also a weird thing you can do with your head (you can search it on youtube) but I never found it to be effective myself. Its supposed to be working on the crystals in your ears which sounds like it's probably not the issue here. Maybe if you get hard up you can google it. I guess that would be something to try on one of the longer spins of it not one of the immediate "I'm going to die right here" times. (I dont get that "worse than a heart attack" feeling. I'm basically just trapped in bed and can't close my eyes and have to focus on something on the ceiling. Lasts about a day)

Total bummer man as it means theoretically you can get quite restricted on what cold and flu preps which you can use.

Yeah man, you're talking one form of vertigo known as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. The cause is basically the equivalent of getting limsescale within the semi-circular canals of the ear. They normally deal with that by performing bizzare ancient pagan type of manoeuvers, usually with funky music playing in the background.

You know how we all have certain sensations we just can't deal with? Like, I can generally compartmentalize even pretty bad physical pain until it reaches a certain point (like when I was a kid and I finished out a school day on a broken knee because I didn't want to complain too much). But what I can't handle is dizziness; just cannot deal with it at all.

I feel something similar. Physical pain, if I vaguely know the reason, I can deal for a long time without saying a word. But if I'm dizzy - or nauseated (when not intoxicated) - I feel like I'm dying, lol. To me it's about not knowing why I feel a certain way, I believe. Dizziness can mean so many things, it's freaky and terrifying...
