Starting therapy

So i got my first appointment today it will be over the phone but after waiting months its ok but something she said was lets see we have an appointment with Adam for monday which i took but seems i will not have one set therapist is that a goid thing i only ask as i dont want to have to repeat everything to each therapist

I hope your appointment goes well.

Imho, it's probably better to have one therapist that you see consistently, but it doesn't look like you've got a choice. You may still be able to get some benefit from therapy though.

Can you ask if there's any possible way you can talk to the same therapist each time? I'm glad you took the appointment, but it would be really difficult having to switch therapists often. Part of therapy is building trust, and you can't do that if they keep rotating.

Not sure they seem a bit confused already they gave me wrong number to reach them i had to call up the assessment people and they got me the right one now this with my first call on Monday i will see how it goes guessing they will make another appointment after it would give me opportunity to ask

i have this issue with the Samaritans as there different each time they end up asking the same stuff and not knowing the original issue not great
