Nice! I'm originally from Azusa, but didn't live there long before moving to the east coast. I've been back to visit numerous times, and have hiked in Death Valley NP and the San Gabriel mountains...never encountered any snakes, alas....mostly lizards and tortoises. And lots of coyotes!

Nice! I'm originally from Azusa, but didn't live there long before moving to the east coast. I've been back to visit numerous times, and have hiked in Death Valley NP and the San Gabriel mountains...never encountered any snakes, alas....mostly lizards and tortoises. And lots of coyotes!

I’ve never seen a tortoise! Cute! Plenty of lizards haha. I never see coyotes hiking but saw them often enough in town.

Here's some photos of my favourite place on earth. It's a tiny little Greek island called Paxos in the Ionian just south of Corfu. We went there every year on the boat until we sold it a year or so ago. I miss it terribly but have a little dream of retiring there.

Only the once to get it to Greece. It was a great trip, stopping all over the place on our way there. Then we left it there and would fly back to use it every summer.

I was worried it was going to be shit due to my friend inviting his new gf at the last minute, but it turned out to be a good trip (she still talked way too fucking much, but that's for another thread...)

Here's a few pictures from Svalbard, I went there three years ago with my mum and brother. I really wanted to see a polar bear but sadly we didn't spot one.







It was really weird being dark 24 hours a day. Not sure I could cope with that six months a year. And I fell off of the dog sled and broke my nose.
