I am 99.9999999% sure I have avoidant personality disorder based on the APA criteria and reading people's blogs.

Is there anyone else with APD on here? Can you tell me a little about your experiences with this? Feel free to pm me.

Why not go in then and get a professional to examine you and tell you for certain what is happening ok that way you will not be second guessing yourself. It is so dangerous to self diagnose

I agree with Total Eclipse - if you're that certain, then why not go and have an official diagnosis? it would bring some sort of closure to know for certain.

I look forwards to seeing you around more :D

I have that, I was diagnose with that, and I literally isolated myself for the longest time, years hidden away, not talking to anyone and avoiding everything...but this year is better, I am forcing myself out and doing stuff I care about...it's a hell of a thing to have...on top of that I have generalized anxiety, social phobias and depression
