how do cheeseburgers taste in the air fryer we haven't tried it yet. and have you tried french fries in the air fryer yet. ours came out perfect except they had a texture that was a little dry. any suggestions?...mike..*hug*shake
Burgers are great I use the pre setting but turn the temp down for just about everything fries don't dry out and hashbrown patties turn out great.

My roommate made fried chicken, greens, sweet potatoes, and cornbread.
Fried chicken, cornbread, sounds like my kind of meal. Growing up my mom would buy the whole frozen chicken and fry it for the three of us, her, me and my brother. It would even include the heart, liver and gizzard and we each had a favorite of the innerds. I still love fried chicken livers.

I don't think I've tried any of that stuff. Today we only had drumsticks.

Here in this area of Texas and maybe many other places fried livers and gizzards are commonly found, hearts not so much. Liver is liver and has that flavor, but it is fried! Gizzards you chew on until you get tired of chewing then just swallow that sumbitch down. LOL. The gizzard is a muscle so munching down on it can be a jaw workout.

that's funny about the innards. my mom would buy chicen hearts for the dog. i used to take them so my mother ended up buying 2 packs one for me and one for the dog. i used to slice them and sauteed them with onions and peppers, sometimes i would add a little water and thicken it..mike

Vittles for supper today, and yes, I am hayseed to the point of calling them vittles. LOL

Hash...2 pounds of ground meat, 2 large potatoes and a whole red onion, generously seasoned with: salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and smoked paprika. Leftovers for 4 or so other meals this week just heat up and eat up plus it is a good way to stretch the ingredients.

Sounds really good KM. I bought some potatoes to make something similar, but have to finish the soup I made first.
