my son got me a pizza (onion sausage) from the best place in at least a 100 miles

We're using "home chef" so we don't have to go to the supermarket.

Meals are pretty good: chipotle apple butter chicken, jerk pork chops, spinach marinara sausage pasta, breaded Cesar chicken, etc..

Even once covid ends, assuming no upheavals, we'll continue with it. Great if u get home from work and are too tired to cook. Cheaper than take-out.

its not mine, but I'm eating basically that. chicken+beef+manioc flour toasted in butter with onions and other spices+ rice + beans + some vegetables

Had jambalaya for lunch and a Popeye's chicken sandwich, a drumstick and mashed potatoes. It was my first time trying the sandwich, and it was really good.

I had Toad-in-the-hole, mashed potatoes, peas and gravy tonight. It didn't rise as much as usual but it was still delicious

I know UK cuisine has been (unfairly) maligned over the years, but there are so many English dishes that I'd love to try, including this one.

I suppose I could get off my lazy butt, buy the ingredients and make some of them..

Supper today was ribeye steak, salad, a roll heavy on the butter and asparagus. Now the fun was dessert!

Dark chocolate cake. I thought it more chocolate would be good so...
