In this case, it is slice of bread with a thick slice of cheddar cheese on it, and then it's heated in a pan until the bread is toasted and cheese slightly melted.

Thai style coconut pancakes. I get them frozen from Trader Joe's and heat them up in the air fryer. Otherwise you need a special pan to make them from scratch. When my partner and I were living together, we had one of those pans, and the taste of the frozen ones is just about identical.
