two years ago i lost my biologicial brother to suicide. it tore me apart he was my best friend and confident. we were very close. my stepbrother has been missing for two weeks and no body wanted to tell me because they didnt want me to worry. because he has taken off before. i was made aware that they found him on the beach last night dead by what the cops are calling a suicide. i was barely able to get through the first one. i dont know how to hand this i dont have the strength is how i feel. i am so frustrated with my family taking their lives. the aftermath is a very difficult puzzle to pick myself up and process and put the pieces back together. right now i dont know how to do that i dont know how to pull this. the pain is overwhelming im tired of them giving up and leaving me here to deal with it by myself. i dont even know where to start at this point. the pain is still so raw. i need support so much i cant do this on my own im not able to do this one on my own im sorry.

I never have any idea what to say to posts like this, because what can be said that can make any difference? I suppose ultimately no words can make a difference except to let you know that we are thinking of you, that your pain matters to us, and that we genuinely hope you can make it through this difficult time.

Im sorry. *sadhug

As the others who've replied here have already said, I'm terribly sorry to read about this Bbear and that you are going through that and experiencing so much pain and sadness. I can't even imagine how that would feel. I really liked Flamingo's idea of perhaps sharing a happy memory, only if you feel that's something you can do and that might help you feel even a little bit better at this challenging time.

I know it's not the same at all but when we had to put our sweet kitty down a couple years ago it helped me a bit to remember all the good times I got to spend with her. Even now a thing that helps me when I feel sad about her no longer being here is feeling like as long as I do remember her then she is always kept alive in my heart. I'm so sorry, not sure what else to say but I'm here for you if you want to talk and also sending lots of big, loving, comforting hugs to you dear friend :) *hug*hug

thank you so much for sharing this. it means so much to me. even though you say that it isnt the same in my eyes it kinda is the same. your kitty was a part of your family therefore when you lost her you lost a very big piece of your life of your family. so i really do appreciate you opening up and sharing this.

my favorite memory of my brother that i just loss, was on kims first birthday. he told me to get a chococalte cake so she could dig in and get messy so we could take a picture to remember it. well she refused to touch it. so he took her finger and put some frosting on it. she didnt like it and pouted. we kept telling her it was ok and she just keep saying no so he actually picked it up and put it in her face after cry for a whole two seconds she started laughing. he told her to wipe some on his nose and she giggled and did it. this is a dear memory i will always carry with me and i have the picture of the two of them

Hey @Bbear82 just wanted to say thanks so much for replying to my post, I'm glad you found my kitty story to be helpful in some way, and I appreciate that you think it is the same in some ways. No problem at all with sharing it, I was glad to share it especially now since I know it was helpful in some way! :)

That was a wonderful, sweet and lovely memory you shared about your brother as well, and having a pic to go with it, well that is just even better still. That's definitely one of the many things I love about pictures, that they capture a moment in time, forever. We are so lucky this day in age in so many ways for sure, can't even imagine what they did in the days before there were cameras and all the other modern conveniences we get to enjoy today.
Anyway sorry got a bit sidetracked there, but thanks so much for sharing that great memory with us, it was a pleasure to read it. :) *hug*hug
