You are not alone.

For years I've been working with people in financial distress and the mental illness and depressions this causes many people. Some people even get to the point where they are solidly convinced that their face/body or even aura is a reason to be turned down from jobs. Within my own family I've witnessed from up-close what financial stress can cause people. I personally live in Europe and we seem to have a better network when it comes down to helping people here. I see many of you posting that you would like help. I am here to offer that. I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist, nor a person trying to make money of people who are already suffering. What I can offer is help you live trough the financial toughness and help you fight for your legal rights, because very often you are actually entitled to free help. I've studied humanitarian and international contract law next to humanitarian studies, basic psychology and finance. I can obviously not help all of you at once, nor will I be able to solve every problem. But if you are willing to work hard, you can rest assured that most of your problems will be in the past soon.
I've seen so many people who wanted to end it all in a very drastic manner who are now today, very happy that they didn't. Know that you are not alone, there is help, no matter how bad the situation is. If you need a hand, know I'm here and shoot me a line :)

Hi HelpU

In the US and Canada, there is phone number you can call called 211. They also have a website 211.org.

What it does is connect people to social services related to employment, housing, healthcare, food, and other services.

Is there something similar in Europe? Can you list some of the services available in Europe and how to contact them?

Yes, I agree about resources. Because I used to be homeless and lost all hope but somehow I found resources available and they saved me. Currently I am very happy and financially I always have enough money for my housing rent all the time. At the same time I also have to practice Frugality so that I preserve my financial security. In other words, don't be extravagant with the money, don't squander. As long as I do that, I'll always have enough money. I'm happy I stayed alive!

To answer your question @SillyOldBear. As far as tips on frugality that you asked about, when you go to the store, have a list made up beforehand and stick to it. Also, if you get tempted to buy an item, resist the temptation for that moment and go home and think it over overnight. Somehow the passage of time will make your desire go away, so by the next day, the temptation will be gone. If it's not, then you have to buy the item. lol
In my case, I used to buy DVDs a lot but now I hardly buy them, if at all, because a lot of my favorite movies can be found on YouTube for free. In fact, I get the most enjoyment from watching the Amateur videos that regular people upload. Some are even more fun than the movies.
