There is a very old commercial for Toro lawnmowers that I love. It shows a very happy baby giggling in his high chair while his dad mows the lawn. Then the narrator says something like this to the baby: 'Yep, this lawn mower will still be working when you are older and you will be able to mow the lawn with it". Then the giggling baby bursts into tears. Commercial actually persuaded me to buy a Toro and have no regrets.

It took 30 years for my Toro to die... And I cried when it did.
