Yes, I feel a bit less lonely when I'm here. Hugs back @iloverachel . I'm grateul for SF. I'm looking into ways to get back to NSW without his help. I need closure one way or another.
“The personality is an adaptation, what we call the personality is often a jumble of genuine traits and conditioned coping styles, including some that do not reflect our true self at all but rather the loss of it.”
@FlamingoWrangler It is a good short read. If you search it, it'll likely show up. If you're into a long read, his book The Myth of Normal has poignant relevance and has helped me a lot; in more ways than I can briefly describe.

a bit of messy, unrealistic play with paint lately. Missing my husband/ex/? is very painful. My friend tells me I need to move on and get over it. That kind of narrow-minded and blithe commentary is entirely unhelpful. I wish I had a friend who understand about long term relationships.

The poignancy of pain comes to mind, I like it.
Not sure what long term means to you but I've been married almost ten yrs now, separated for 4 lol but I get it. I miss a lot of things about who I thought he was.
Inbox is always open.
Many hugs @seabird
I might write more to you @Astrid78 , but I don't want to be negative especially since you're super busy with moving and all the realtor crap issues right now.
Thank you for looking at the pics, and for not writing advice. I am broken and there isn't anything to be done. I appreciate SF and the support I find here.
I'm learning to separate the feelings into categories. Suicidal feelings and thoughts have a box of their own, and being depressed bc I'm a failure has a corner in there, with all sorts of stuff jumbled into it.
Missing what I thought was going home for the rest of my life, that is the monster at present.
