@FlamingoWrangler It is a good short read. If you search it, it'll likely show up. If you're into a long read, his book The Myth of Normal has poignant relevance and has helped me a lot; in more ways than I can briefly describe.
I am def better with a short read. But I have been looking for an audio book that might keep my interest. I’ll see how it goes with the article.

a bit of messy, unrealistic play with paint lately. Missing my husband/ex/? is very painful. My friend tells me I need to move on and get over it. That kind of narrow-minded and blithe commentary is entirely unhelpful. I wish I had a friend who understand about long term relationships.

The poignancy of pain comes to mind, I like it.
Not sure what long term means to you but I've been married almost ten yrs now, separated for 4 lol but I get it. I miss a lot of things about who I thought he was.
Inbox is always open.
Many hugs @seabird

I'm learning to separate the feelings into categories. Suicidal feelings and thoughts have a box of their own, and being depressed bc I'm a failure has a corner in there, with all sorts of stuff jumbled into it.

Missing what I thought was going home for the rest of my life, that is the monster at present.
I can NEVER think of you as a failure. We all mess up stuff and we all succeed at stuff. There are no failures; just human beings.
