Just to note that while the moderators have access to this section, we don't sniff these posts out to read them. They show up for us as regular posts, in the "latest" section so sometimes we do land on them but no one is reading through those for content necessarily.

That's a good point. I could easily see someone thinking, "I posted in the private diary section, and said [x], so why didn't the mods respond? That must mean [y].

I don't think I would have thought it but people can think like this indeed , I would be more concerned about the privacy and if they are reading it or not.

That makes me wonder, what would make it so confidential that it would be revealed in the diary section instead of the open section? The reason why I ask is because when I read in the Regular open section, many members already reveal highly personal details there anyway.

I understand. I struggle to post here , I mean I don't know sometimes it's like I feel if I shared too much or..
