What's currently in place for activity and exercise and lifestyle habits or wanting to start.....Any goals or targets in mind?

I'm doing really early morning bike rides to avoid the heat, an hour of yoga most mornings, more meditation and since I no longer walk the dogs farther than the end of the street I'll go for a walk some days in the shady parks around here. I'm still working on getting calories increased. Lots of clean water. Trying to cut any added sugars to zero. And trying to get used to the taste of tofu again.

I really would like to get to the place of being able to tolerate participating in area bicycle rides and marathons.

Sounds like you’re doing great with these new habits! This is definitely motivating for me!

I would like to start eating cleaner by cooking at home with fresh vegetables, and other healthy recipes. I was eating out way too much, and still turn to junk food for convenience. I don’t want to do that anymore. I especially want to cut out energy drinks and soda; I can feel how bad they make me feel, and it’s necessary to cut them out.

I don’t drink as much water as I should, so this needs to become a habit change for me.

My job is very physical, but I would still like to go to the gym a few times a week. Also, I would like to reintegrate yoga and meditation back into my morning routine. These helped so much in the past, and I would really like to do them again.

I went to the podiatrist yesterday. She said my foot is healing but not there yet. At least another 3 weeks in the boot. In the meantime I’ll continue with the arm exercises. I’m considering taking an actual yoga class once my foot heals. I‘m going to start looking who around here offers that kind of thing.

Sounds like you might be around 3 weeks in on the boot? 6 weeks is a long time when having to lug that around on your foot 🦶 I hope you find some nice yoga businesses and teachers in your area🧘🏽

I’ve been in the boot 5 weeks so far. I fractured my foot in a spot that takes longer to heal unfortunately. Thank you, I hope so too.
