I have this book, but I have only read 120 pages or so. I’m curious if it covers any treatment options for PTSD. I understand a little too well how I was traumatized. I wasn’t in combat, but my symptoms were eerily similar to what the author described in combat veterans.
Right now I’m having a hard time and moving has stirred up some old issues. I have been in therapy for 20+ years and I feel like I have little to show for it.
In fairness, I have made heaps of progress, but I’m nowhere near making peace with my past. I don’t need a self help book. I have several already. I’m more looking for a guide to methodologies that I can use to help choose a new therapist.
