that is so great. i never saw one until my early teens when someone gave us a used carpet. my mother freaked out but then i never saw one again until i moved out to college... i wish you the best in not ever seeing them. ... and being that way... i’m very happy for you.
no, go with the spiders. they may be scary but i believe in general they are good luck and good in general. roaches on the other hand want what you’ve got and they take it.

I guess it doesn't really count as a bug but I loved snails when I was a kid so much so I took one from outside and kept it in my room like a pet and never told my parents. I used to let it go out somedays and I would give it "swimming lessons" ......don't worry it survived
