we have rabbits nearby, a lot of bird species, foxes, deer, bats, I even heard an owl once never seen one in the wild unfortunately
in queens nyc, we have possum, raccoons - generally a little, but not very exotic or so i hear, however i live near a fairly woodsy park and there is a hawk family that resides there and they (or at least one) frequent the post office roof across the street from where i live. then, we also have giant roaches that could be a tasty appetizer for the hawks but these roaches can’t really be considered wild life since they are so very domesticated!

I'm not sure where I thought roaches were but for some reason I didn't think they were in america! I guess I pictured them in australia or something lol I like raccoons! I hear they're a pest getting into people's trash but they look cute to me in pictures, I wouldn't mind seeing one in my trash *rofl

You should head a little west to Berkshire. We regularly get adders and grass snakes in our garden. I'm always really scared that the dog will get bitten by an adder.
The European adder has a pretty mild venom from what I've read about them, so I shouldn't worry too much. Certainly I hope your pets don't tangle with one, mind you!

I live in the city, not quite downtown but almost, and I've seen raccoons perusing the rubbish bins out back from time to time! I've even seen deer crossing the street not far from my apartment...The James River is pretty close, so not a huge surprise ..

after the first one, they have a (nasty) way of singing and dancing their way into your disgruntled heart 😱 (and in your walls and kitchen and bathroom and and and...) so that the novelty will be quite worn off. i could tell you a story.... 🤢

1. what is your favorite color

The answer is quite relative. I dislike primary and secondary colors on my person, but I can appreciate them elsewhere. I prefer wearing achromatic colors, i.e., black, white, or grey, but I tolerate wearing red-violet and blue-violet if need be. Yellow-green frankly disgusts me no matter what form it takes. On electronics, there is literally no grey area in terms of what color I like. If it’s not black or white, it disgusts me. Compromise has no place in this domain (unless it’s necessary to distinguish a button or feature).

2. what is your favorite animal

I tolerate the Animal Kingdom at least. I may favor dogs as companions, but their loyalty can be an inconvenience.

3. what is your favorite genre in music

Melodic death metal.

4. what is your favorite genre of books

I actually don’t read.

5. what is your favorite genre in shows/movies

Horror, thriller, and science fiction. If it’s all three, great.

1. what is your favorite color. Purple, the color of royalty, but that may be because many say I am royalty, or rather a royal pain the ass.

2. what is your favorite animal. Wolverines and other animals that are similar like the ratel. Pound for pound among the most fearless, strongest and toughest animals on Earth. Snakes are other favorites, among the most beautiful and fascinating animals and as noted above much maligned. I love having the non venomous ones when they are here, good rodent eaters and they will kill and eat the venomous ones. I let them go on their way being happy little snakes.

3. what is your favorite genre in music. Classic rock especially from the 70s because that was popular when I got into music, favorite bands include The Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC bands like those.

4.what is your favorite genre of books. History and biography.

5 what is your favorite genre in shows/movies. Depends on my mood, but comedy, science fiction and horror are favorites.
