i'm sorry for your loss but remember your mother didn't leave you on purpose the chronic pain took her away you also know how close a person can get it's not there fault

thanks, doctor just put me on duloxetine for pain is also used for major depression (maybe the doctor was sneaking antidepression) but i'll see how it goes if still looking forward to meeting my maker I might try therapy

It may take a couple of weeks, so don't expect rapid results. Make sure you read the side effects. Just so you're aware of what it might do. I know, nobody does. But, it's nice to know.

thanks for the advice I always research everything I can on a new med including side effects but keep advising people because you're right most people don't check

Cymbalta is good stuff. Not too side effect heavy and works relatively quick. It's a cousin of Prozac. I really hope it works for you.
Keep posting ok? You said up there that you're whining but you're not (really) and that's what this place is for in the end you know? We are more than happy to have you Dodge. Stay safe.
