I'm only 150-155 lbs, and I'm trying to gain weight. I would join you on your fasting, but I can't afford to lose any weight or else I'll become underweight. I love to eat anyhow. I hope your fasting goes good, but proper diet and exercise is the best way to go Katsu.

Meh I got hungry bought a letuce and ate a quarter of it, I guess cold turkey wont happen in a day.

I counted my calorie intake for a normal workign day and its like just under 3000 >.<

Anyhu just gonna fix my push bike now and do a few miles...

3000 is only like 500 over the normal calorie intake for a male, its a bit much but well, some people have 3000 everyday too.

going cold turkey, didnt expect that to happen.
why not reduce your calorie intake bit by bit, and then fast whenever you feel ready?

if you want to do a proper detoxicating(sp?) fast, then only have water during the fast and the fast usually lasts 21-28 days. never go past a month.
but if you want to do a juice fast, they are just as good too.
id also tell your doctor about this if you plan on actually fasting.
i never did tell my doctor, but i never experienced any serious problems.

still dont get it
yes im thick lol

if youre on about that if you fast for more than a month and dont need to speak to your doc about it, then just because you weigh that much doesnt mean you should take a precaution...

starving yourself or limiting significant food intake would only make u lose your body weight temporarily. the moment you eat back normally, all your efforts will be wasted. what you need is a permanent change in your eating habits. always eat 70% full.

The best thing I ever did was buying a smoothie maker. I had asmoothie for breakfast, one for lunch and one for supper at night. In between I had half a mars bar and even more fruit, lots of raw vegetables. For my dinner, it was mostly fish with boiled tatties and lots of green vegetables (half my plate was probably vegetables). I lost about 9lbs in less than a month and it's stayed off.
