5 years today since you passed away and it still hurts just like it was yesterday. Grief never goes away. We just learn to live with it. It sits heavy in our hearts, the longing to see one another again. The longing to embrace one another in a comforting hug, wrapped up in the smells of our memories....my heart still hearts and I dont know that it could ever heal. I just know that I am trying my best to keep the pieces from scattering across the floor.
