Yup, I tried hard to like it and feel good about it, I really didn’t like the environment it was in though. Didn’t last more than maybe 3 months before I’d had enough of the place. I feel good that I gave it a try though. In a more enlightened kind of area/place I’m sure I could have been the best volunteer they ever saw. Their loss.

One of the women said she was experienced in that because she had been a housekeeper for 20 years or something, guess that makes her an expert now. I always do a good job cleaning so they just liked to nitpick.

They do that so it ships faster or something, and if you order from local shops then the items are usually sent out individually. As long as they arrive within a reasonable amount of time then it's fine.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I think maybe part of it was that cos of how I can sometimes come off as “aloof” (especially when nervous) then the teachers made a lot of very incorrect assumptions about me, like that I didn’t care and wasn’t trying. Ya I highly doubt I will ever “want” to go back to the stifling atmosphere of a school/academic environment. Maybe I’ll feel differently someday, seems a bit unlikely though. Thank you for the encouragement/support with it though, it’s very kind of you. I think you’d do really well too
