If you'd like to see an acupuncturist, there are usually plenty of private clinics in most places. Private clinics can be expensive though.
Two good lower-cost options are teaching clinics and community clinics.
If you search for "acupuncture schools in [your area]", there's usually a link to a teaching clinic from a school's web page. Teaching clinics can charge between $20-$50 per treatment, but are sometimes free.
You could also search for "community acupuncture in [your area]". Community style clinics typically treat patients in a group setting. They usually charge about $20 per treatment.
Teaching clinics more often also offer Chinese herbal medicine. They also more often offer treatments like moxabustion (burning moxa over acupuncture points). Both herbal medicine and moxabustion might be good for your condition.
www.POCAcoop.com has a list of POCA-affiliated community clinics in the US.
www.acmac.net has a similar listing in the UK. Not all community clinics are associated with these groups though, they're just the only community clinic associations that I know of.
If you get a diagnosis from an acupuncturist, you may want to also ask about dietary changes, and also doing moxabustion at home.
You may want to try not eating or drinking anything served cold or raw, avoiding processed foods, and not eating sugar.
