Yeah it was around somewhere as I just checked and I had access again now it's too late to work in anything, but people were having weird things happen like work they finished last week appearing in their queue again in a half finished state. I read there was some weird global internet mini-outage today so maybe it was to do with that! Sorry things suck for you so much at the moment, and thanks for taking the time to respond. Funnily enough I was just watching a video about how all the data around will eventually degrade on all the SSDs and conventional HDs and whatnot. Apparently the safest long term data storage is DNA, but it works out about $100million per 100GB 😂

All things are impermanent, and storage media is no exception. I think magnetic tape media has a longer shelf life, assuming it’s stored in a dehumidified cave under a mountain or something. Still not going to last 2,000 years for future archeologists to discover. I consider this a good thing, because I bet that at least 50% of external hard drives are films of creative primate mating behavior…

Have a small meeting with my manager to discuss issues, so hopefully can prepare well when I get to the office. It's so hard to get anything done in the office, even when I wear headphones. Looking forward to 4pm. Acting normal around people is hard .

Well, yeah, no wonder UK soccer players are always in the news for this kind of thing. I believe you could pay an extra $10k a week to do the rehab on a yacht 😂 I'd probably alternate between the excess and rehab on the yacht 😂

Annoyed, stressed. My daughter is throwing herself abirthday party. I told her she should've asked me first. She's renting chairs, dishes, etc. I came home to all new pillows on the couch and huge boxes filled with party goods in the kitchen. I feel like this may not constitute a problem, but she's taking over the house.

I'm thoroughly enjoying, doing some Diamond Paintings, for a friend and his Sister. He's been through a lot. He loves steam trains, so I'm doing that one, and a bird with flowers. Also, some handmade cards, for them both.

I'm getting quite anxious at something my manager said to me today, it clashes with the issues I face from my autism. I'm taking a small break now. Just want to go home but I suppose I'll have to stay for a few more hours yet

Well, a lot of $ and effort went in to getting my car back after several medical reviews came back wanting more information. At least disability could reimburse one taxi ride because it cost a lot to get there by taxi to my psychiatrist. Normally I don't bother them about needing gas money because my main dr is only a 10 minute drive from me but with insurance to keeping it going, a tow bill, then a new battery and oil change I sometimes wonder if I should have done this.

But I'm happy to have my freedom to drive back. Chances are my insurance goes up in a couple months, but at least for now, no more relying on taxis for everything. I've told myself for years I'm going to camp out of my car and I haven't... so that's in a plan. God it felt good to get back in my car. I bought it with my disability in mind the seat is at the right height and comfortable and the grocery cart is at the level of the trunk.

Why do I feel guilty when I’m the one who got f***ed over? It’s a lot of stress to move, and I am probably mixing in my regret that I didn’t leave sooner. New place is about $300 more monthly, but in a place of my own as opposed to a tiny bedroom in a townhouse that’s 5 degrees warmer than the hallway.

I also think that I have been conditioned to believe that my needs come last, and so doing this in my own interest is uncomfortable, like very uncomfortable.
