How Are You Feeling Right Now?

by the time i left my sis in laws shop was closed. I ended up going to a bigger walmart. I don't like the choice of clothes anymore, I've felt like that for years. It sounds petty but they really have some gawdy looking clothes or stuff that wont fit me.

I realize now my right s.i. joint hurts again from driving. Next time I'm wearing heels so my foot doesn't have to stretch so far to the pedal. And another pillow under me. I still feel really good getting my ''car legs'' back. As I age I find it's true, if you don't use it you lose it.

I'm a careful driver but still it was a bit like learning again. No speeding. I never want a ticket again. It's not that I really sped, it's the accumulation of any tickets that's going to make my insurance go up. I'm hoping they don't look me up when it comes time to renew the insurance policy, but it seems i'm flagged because last year i had forgotten all about my 15 km over the speed limit. She said ''my dad's upset about it, now insurance goes up a lot for every minor ticket''

I'm still very happy to have the convenience of my car right there for anything I need. Oh, and I hadn't seen my older son since Christmas, so I stopped by his place and thankfully he was home, he's looking well. Gave him some gas money and I loved the hug we had.
In the car, you can move the driver's seat closer to the steering wheel. Have you tried it? You wouldn't have to stretch to reach the pedals.

Yes. I'm an odd shaped woman, and if I do that my arms are bent too far. It does work to put my flats that have not real heels, I forget what you call the shoes, they are solid but make my legs longer. Thanks, it's been a while and I probably didn't put it as far forward as I used to.

Okay, then thick soles and heels are a good solution. When I was in driving school, we were often told that we always had to be able to reach the pedals properly. It's a safety issue.
I don't drive at the moment, I don't have a car. But I know how to drive. And I enjoyed it.

I want to go somewhere nice today with my car, it's not a really warm day but that's ok. I wont ever drive to a city again, so I'm going to look up places that are just down regular roads from here.... now I'm realizing I know most places. I'll pull up maps, there's got to be somewhere unique with places I can window shop or parks. oh.... just remembered my sister in law has a flower shop, i could pop by to say hello. I'd like to find a book store.
I hope you had a nice day @Reality.

My meds kicked in for the first time about an hour ago and...woah. Is this what other people feel all the time? My brain is so quiet it's frightening to me. I try to be mean to myself and I can't, I try to ruminate and nothing sticks...I feel like I'm floating on a cloud, and that cloud is my mostly empty brain.
I hope your meds are helpful @maybeicanheal. Mine do wonders for bi-polar, depression and anxiety. I think the PA finally has the right cocktail.

Glad you are enjoying your car. To me a car = freedom. Safe driving. *console

i slept 10 hours... that's actually a normal for me but not lately so yay. I still wake up and say ''i hate life'' then realized i have my favorite coffee in the trunk and so what.. at least it's another day in summer and I can get dressed and do something. I'm embarrassed about the amount of empty boost bottles so now I can gradually take garbage to the car to dump it somewhere else. I'm weird, I know.

I'm glad to hear you slept so well. Yay. And now I have to google what a "boost" is, lol.

I’m kind of optimistic, kind of relieved. I lost my temper last night, but I’m proud of myself for the things I refrained from saying. I did say some things out of anger, but I also said some kind things and backed off when I felt my temperature getting too high to continue. I would have preferred to not get engaged in the first place, but I am also feeling less bottled up to stand up for myself.

Wow, what happened?
i feel as though i am just machanical. No thoughts or feelings involved in most of my actions and doings.
Sorry to hear that @AmberMarie.

I'd be, I mean my inbox is open for talking about it if you'd like.
i would take you up on that, and appreciate it greatly, i just cant figure things out to be able to describe it.
