I hope you can break from this coworker soon. It seems they are ready to end the relationship but you are still struggling to do so. I must admit, I find it hard to understand how badly you want to keep the relationship going. I have had and lost many jobs and easily left relationships behind. But maybe I am a colder person. I just hate seeing you constantly in pain over this

She works two jobs and is very busy with that and her grandchildren. She's also really sick a lot and we used to talk all the time last year. Now I can’t even get a hold of her at all no matter what I do. Even my coworker hasn’t heard back from her.
