Worried. Probably asssuming worst case scenarios but I can’t help it :/

I am in the same boat. I am worried sick and like you the worst case scenarios are playing in my head over and over again. Feel so helpless at the moment and very anxious. I feel nauseated and cant sleep and its like my world slowly falls apart even if I dont know yet the outcome.

Crazy bored. Called in sick b/c of a migraine and now the migraine is gone. Would go into work save I have to leave early and it doesn't make sense. No one cares anyway. I have 6 days to take before the end of December. But am bored at home. Even though I hate my job it provides relief from boredom, and brings in cash (I need cash). I would be actively suicidal if I didn't have a job. Although I am looking forward to retirement in 7 years, I am also dreading it. But crazy bored today.

He got a steroid shot in his hip 3 months ago but wore off early so I told him to see if he can get another one and he made an appointment. For hip surgery they told him that they would have to grind his bolts down and replace the end of his decayed femur and that he might not survive the operation which scared him. I told him at 61 he needs to do it before he gets to old to have hip surgery but I am kind of worried when the doctor told him he might not make it through the surgery.

that is a tough decision quality of life and lack of severe pain or possibly not making it through surgery I admire you for helping him with this decision

try to relax and relieve some of the stress, maybe distract yourself with something light movie music, etc.
