Aw thanks. Sort of success - for now, but it does need replacing. 23 years, that's amazing! I thought mine was doing well at about 12 years! The door is broken so I use a shoelace hack to open it lol - I think it might be time to retire it and get a new machine and hose, but one thing at a time! They will do credit offers so I could get one and just pay £10 a month or something. Need to figure out the health side of things first.

Sleep was not good last night as the anxiety was floating around, but I will try for a better one tonight!
I hope that you will be able to get the old out and new in. All the problems coming up for so many at times you feel a major victory just getting one things handles. I wish you the best in that task.

Have improved a bit. Mornings after severe insomnia and 7am get ups are horrible. By the afternoon it's like my body thinks I'm normally up at this time anyway and finds some balance. I had a couple of herbal stress tablets with valerian in. I sorted the emails and admin, I just have remote meetings now for several hours, hoping there aren't any curveballs or nasty surprises. Am just trying to get through today and not think about anything else. I had a little walk of just 5 minutes to the end of the road and back, the pain flare has stayed low today, which might be progress - or it might mean the only way I can avoid pain is to avoid moving or severely limit moving. Time will tell. Also see how sitting in the office chair for hours affects my body.

Really down and very lonely but guess I have to get used to that.
Things can get better @Lostman85. I know it did with me. If i really thought about my life...draining job, questionable relationship, bratty kids, age I'd be very depressed. But I try to focus on the positives, a job and routine, someone that gives me company & security, healthy children, not in jail or on drugs, etc. It helps me in the way I look at things.

I feel needy and sensitive. Another all-night insomnia last night. It’s my own doing; I could go to sleep on a consistent schedule, but I seem to feel like everything is more important starting at 3 hours before my nominal bedtime. So I have a flurry of activity that is a lot of busyness that really accomplishes little. I am not putting sustained effort on anything for long enough to generate momentum. It’s probably my way of avoiding my financial stress. The end result is that I feel groggy and useless in the morning and then I feel fully awake in the late evening.

It’s a perpetual excuse to avoid taking care of myself. In the morning I’m too tired to do the really heavy lifting, and in the evening I pretend that I can’t do anything upsetting for fear of insomnia. Well, 24+ hours of no sleep is about as bad as it gets. I have enough energy and time to rearrange the clutter every time I need something important, but I don’t have enough time to get organized. I have a plan, but I want to put it into action before I talk about it too much. I am shifting from obsessing over what I should do to forming an intention. After taking action I can discuss the results
