Extreme Fatigue….having moved finally cross country yesterday after doing all it took to make this happen including putting my house on market and having movers load my house content for two days and also get car transported which has turned into a struggle etc. I’m not wanting to get ill and there’s so much still to do with resettling. So I’m sleeping and eating to restore this week and going to just do what I can while putting myself and health FIRST☺️👍🏼
Wishing you well with this move. People seem to be moving around a lot!

Confused mainly. I had literally no sleep last night, I remember every rageful breath into my pillows and every twist and turn. So I rage quit my bed at 6am, then worked all day, and am still going and feeling the most functional I have in ages. Maybe sleep is bad for me or something, maybe I have alien DNA.
With the adversities you've been sharing with us recently, I risk offering this guess: Your mind is on high-alert/short-term survival-readiness/problem-solving multiprogram mode, and with it, a drive to postpone sleep and draw out worktime. Evolution did not update our brains with a specified protocol for a 20th/21st-century financial/housing situation, so our brains approximate the danger to solutions that, for our ancestors, helped them turnaround in answer to a plains fire, a rival tribe, a lion pride attack, or rising floodwaters.

I'm wishing you the might to get the most out of this mindset, clinch a win from your sea of troubles, then get well-earned triple-quality sleep every night for a month.

Glad to hear you have gotten yourself cross country!

I hope things go smoothly for you as you resettle!

Yes I think this is the exact correct answer. Just keep trying to create conditions where I feel safe enough to drop off but is difficult. Maybe got a few hours last night but woke up 1.5 hours after I apparently nodded off, which fits the pattern lately. Thanks for your insight, appreciated!

Right now, I'm feeling feeling-overloaded. I pondered existence & death in a morning drive, I struggled wiþ an online interview, lost progress because I stepped away, worked myself up over being prospectively too late to cash two gift cards my coworkers gave me, and riled in anger at þe business-dominance of conservatives in a/þe industries þæt my lifeseed is based on.

You know, I was doing fine, with my normal level of bad and all. Being able to go to class, taking notes and stuff, even with colored pens and markers! That's me being fancy when I don't feel so bad.
It all went down the drain the moment this... psychologist? (I don't know if she is) came to the classroom to give us emotional support and advice.
This is the second time she has come already, and after she leaves, I feel BAAAAAD. I could kill myself on the spot.
She doesn't say anything bad; it is all positive stuff, like manage your emotions and such.
But I feel BAD during these sessions. I think it's because they are meant for people in a better mental space than me.
She reminds me of all my bad feelings and thoughts. She doesn't mention them or even talk to me; she talks in a general way for everybody in the classroom, but it hurts...
I think she is a trigger for all my bad emotions.
She makes us talk or think about our feelings and then tells us to confront them. Maybe for someone with less strong emotions and fewer bad thoughts and feelings in general, the experience doesn't mean any trouble. It is healthy for them. But for me, it's just invoking all the demons from the deepest pits of hell and leaving me alone without even a leash to keep them under control.
Dang, I don't want her to come back.
I also don't want to be mean or anything, because I know that not participating in the activities she brings and putting on a bad face could make her feel bad.
Anyways... I feel baaaaaaaad

I’m feeling low tonight. I took my friend to chemo and while she apologized for being negative towards my thoughts and feelings she managed to create confusion and anxiety about a choice I had made. Got home too late to get some information about the issue but doubting myself and now I will go to bed worrying. Got to trust that it will be resolved tomorrow somehow. Thanks for being there SF

Ok just now. I checked my energy account and it said I was paying too much, so has reduced my direct debit by £20. I was thinking of doing this anyway as had done the maths myself, but this made it easy. Will also get a refund from this month. I have made sure I am always on the lowest fix at my provider, and the current fix I bagged a while ago is now super cheap (£350 a year cheaper) than anything else and is fixed until mid 2028. So while mortgage rates going up is going to cripple me (5 year fix ends end of next year) at least I don't have to worry about a single "energy bills will go up 5000%" headline crap.
