I love them. love that style. when I was in college my dorm roommate and an other guy would listen to the Allman Brothers, Black Sabbath, Zeppelin etc and the conversation would always come to the Les Paul guitar. I couldn't care less! but when I was rummaging through the local Goodwill, there was a Les Paul 78 I posted it previously. twas then I learned to appreciate what my 2 friends already did!!! 😂

forgot to mention they both played, particularly the other guy and he'd be playing holding onto the air while the music played on the record player and they talked about Les Paul guitars.

One of the most fun things with so many rock guitarist like in the bands you mention is how many of the players are huge fans of Les Paul, he is considered the godfather of the rock guitarist and is so often referred to in that way and it can be seen in his style of playing.
