Same here, I still the old vinyl albums here from the days when she was with the Stone Poneys on up until and even 8-track and then cassettes. Silk Purse was always a favorite of mine when she did as many covers of Hank Williams Sr and such and was played as much on country stations as on rock stations. Fine old memories.

kind of a sad tragic story. she was young. she’d most likely have been easily as famous as joni. you can hear her voice with the strawbs and fairport convention. there are a few versions of who knows where the time goes - my favorite! i believe she died of a brain hemorrhage. there were also other health/drug issues. i so vividly remember being at school (college) working on a sculpture project listening...
