Same here, I still the old vinyl albums here from the days when she was with the Stone Poneys on up until and even 8-track and then cassettes. Silk Purse was always a favorite of mine when she did as many covers of Hank Williams Sr and such and was played as much on country stations as on rock stations. Fine old memories.

I love Cuban music...I remember the first Cuban album I heard as a child....That Cuban ChaChaCha by the Orquesta Aragon...if I knew how to post it here I would share....

Thanks for this post Livelife! loved listening. i particularly enjoyed the second piece. I don’t know if i’ve ever heard any of this music, but somehow it was familiar. that’s not just that i love listening to this genre, but really it did conjure up bits of my childhood experience. nice memories.
