when you start a new medication that could possibly make you nauseous so you are just a ball of anxiety due to your emetophobia, and you’re not sure if you actually feel nauseous, if you’re making yourself feel nauseous by worrying, or if you feel nauseous because it’s also day one of your period

Hey there. Just wondering if you have ever tried ginger water? Just straight ginger water.

I buy a piece of ginger root (it's cheap), peel and slice how much I want to seep (for about an hour) in a gallon of water, and drink (once it's cooled to my liking). Making a gallon gives me the ability to keep some on hand for another time. I have shared this with friends who, for various reasons for trying it, have found it incredibly helpful, so just thought I'd ask.
