Not huge on Halloween anymore unfortunately. Just don't have the opportunity to do anything for it since growing up. But I have fond memories of most, if not all, of what was mentioned in the OP.
I haven't worn a costume in a long time, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to think of something creative and interesting to dress as.
Horror movies don't interest me much. Not necessarily because they're too scary. Well, I don't really like jumpscares, but other types of horror just don't tend to be interesting to me. I can do things like psychological thrillers maybe. idk.
I think I remember seeing pics of myself as a baby dressed as a pumpkin. I remember one year I went as US Founding Father Patrick Henry with a costume leftover from a performance/speech I had done at school, but everybody thought I was George Washington. My best Halloween costume ever was a homemade R2-D2 costume made mostly from a laundry basket and blue painter's tape. My mom, sister, and neighbor all helped me with that one. Was back around when the prequels were coming out, and I was obsessed with Star Wars. That year my sister dressed up as Padme/Queen Amidala
As a kid I always loved getting Reese's or Kit Kats as Halloween candies, or I do remember also being excited one time that I got one of those packages of gum. I forget which kind. I feel like it might've been Dr Pepper flavored, but I can only find evidence of Dr Pepper flavored gum existing as Hubba Bubba, and I remember it as possibly Bubble Yum, the one with the funky looking duck on the logo. Maybe it was the strawberry lemonade kind? Or maybe I'm conflating 2 experiences.
Wish I could have more fun on Halloween, but I usually just get myself a box of candy and stay in all night.
