I eat dandelion greens salad since I know myself, that's about half of the century

, and I absolutely love it.
But. When it begins to flower it gets bitter as hell so never pick those. Also if it doesn't get enough water. 'Baby' leaves are the best but of course are very time consuming to pick.
Those dandelion greens on your picture, the salad and the sautéed one seem way too big if you ask me unless it's a coffee cup plate lol.
And I never make a dandelion salad without fried bacon, cooked egg and potato, which you mix in when still hot so that it softens the leaves. Sometimes I add feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, beans...oh and never forget garlic.
I've never tried the tea, but I know people who make it from dandelion roots (picked in autumn) not leaves.
