seems like a lot of people have not visited Mexico 🇲🇽….. maybe we should have a “proud heritage night” For all regions
But seeing how few people have been certain areas I think might help show culture awareness for each other.. since we are a HUGE family!!!

Not sure I've found anything I didn't like - fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, churros. And of course tequila either neat or in a margarita.

Have you ever been to Mexico? Did you drink the water?

I have eaten vegetarian Mexican food and loved it - fajitas, quesadillas, burritos and tacos from a local Mexican restaurant but sadly I don't live near there any more. I miss it. We don't have any authentic Mexican near where I live now - just chains like Taco Bell lol

Tex Mex is staple here. I prefer the Mexican food in Arizona; Green corn tamales and the hatch chilis in most everything. I like really good Migas.
Been to Mexico several times
Bottled water is the way and the last time I drank tequila I was 21 with my first and last hangover.....so I don't remember whether the worm was involved.
And I can make some salsaAnd pico de Gallo

Love it, but here in CenTex you are more likely to find Tex-Mex which is or can be a bit different.

Tacos, enchiladas, tamales, barbacoa, pork posole, carne guisada, menudo is quite a fine soup and many others I learned from my granddad which he learned back along the ways in his family tree.

I never learned to dance any type of dance. Me dancing would most likely look like Lou Costello dancing. LOL

If you want to really enjoy Mexican food, you have to top everything off with the right sauce! Get some Hatch Green chili salsa or enchilada sauce from New Mexico! Its the best!

My favorite time of year in NM was when they roasted the Hatch green chilis outside the stores in Santa Fe, Espanola, Los Alamos, Albuquerque, all over the state! The smell was everywhere and so wonderful!

Well, lets see.

Here in North Central Texas. there is Tex-Mex and a few authentic Mexican restaurants, they are very different, but I like both. You know its a real Mexican restaurant when they offer Coke in glass bottles, bottled down South. Its different!.

One of my favorite Mexican dishes amounts to chicken soup, but it has lots more stuff in it, like corn on the cob. Pollo something lol
